 I downloaded this software after having read that it was free, being paid for by banner advertisements in the scan windows (I read that in a users group online). However after I downloaded it it prompted several times to pay then after the first scan it asked if I wanted to pay to remove the infections. The only free option was to go through the endless trial signup process with other sites. I can't say if it is an effective product since it didn't have the chance to do anything.  Just starting Your product seems to do the job. I had several spyware intrusions on my computer, and it detected and deleted every one. I'm pleased with it's other advantages for detecting spam, etc.

Works Great for Me I got Cyberdefender, and it worked great as a free scanner with spyware and trojan removal. If it finds a virus, you need the upgrade, which I got since I liked the speed and user interface of the scanner. The Cyberdefender anti-virus works great, and the paid version I got also came with 24/7 computer help line with my wife found helpful while I was away. I found out Cyberdefender is a NASDAQ campany and they have a great product.
 Thanks for Cyber Defender Free My wife's computer was corrupted by a virus Malware program named av2009 which gained almost total control of her computer and would not be controlled nor would it allow itself to be deleted.After downloading CyberDefender Free and allowing it to work, it appears that av2009 has been successfully controlled and eliminated from the computer, except for a copy of it in the Recycle Bin. I still cannot delete that file.Thanks again, Homer Pittard
Cyberdefender - gets a star from me I actually use Cyberdefender, and it is a great product. I got the W32.Gamma virus on a flash drive while traveling in China, and spread it from my laptop to my home system cy8-rm00z. This is also known as the Tavo.exe virus.Anyway, I ended up downloading the free version of Cyberdefender, and ran it. My review. It's not bad software it does not do what I need it to do. How ever it does work well. It could use a little work. May be add in like a scrip box or some thing where a person could go in and changed like data pathways and add some lines in.

What a wonderfull tools..
Ugly and no recomendded. It have hard menu to choose what you want to do, not as easy as vlite or nlite which does more then that and easier. Saying what you want to do and telling you warning.
